Dream 2.24.19
Somehow I was deep in the forest. There were these Hmong/Chinese looking people, very skinny and pale. Their eyes popped out as if they'd been starving for years. I could see their veins on their faces and hands. Their skin looked like raisins, all dry and wrinkly. They were short and small but had unusually long arms and fingers that touched down to their knees. Their faces were dirty and chapped. They were very ticky, having muscle spasms that caused them to twitch.
These people were digging up Hmong graves. I heard someone say, "Saib cov pob txha Hmoob no!" (Look at these Hmong bones!")
In the ground I could see piles of yellow and white bone along with scraps of black Hmong clothes and rags. One of them showed the other a Hmong skull. The others picking up skeletons from the ground, one of them still a corpse with dead skin and meat on. Then they proceeded to eat it. They broke the arms in half, shared it with the others and bit right into the bone. They crushed the skulls and detached the jaws of the head while laughing hysterically and looking around as if they knew they weren't suppose to be there. Somehow the bones were sticky and soft and as they ate into it I could see them chewing on the bone as if it was fatty pork meat. I was thinking to myself, "why are they eating Hmong bones?"
I just backed away and looked around for a way to escape. I starred at these people, ruining the graves of dozens of Hmong people and creating a feast. One of them came running up to me and said, "Look at this jaw! Would you like to eat it?' They broke the jaw up into pieces and offered it to me.
I woke up.
Starving ghosts and demons often feed on humans in desperate times. Shamans often warn off these kinds of entities. I believe what happened here is a scene of these types of ghosts and demons. In Hmong we call these, "Dab tuag tshaib tuag qhi" in which ghosts that are starving feed off of dead bodies and bones of corpses. These ghosts and demons were once human. They can be found in forests and caves because they are forgotten spirits.
