Dream 12.18.17

Over the weekend, I went to visit my master as she "tso qhua." The night was filled with a lot of overwhelming energy. Also, I ua neeb siab for someone over the weekend, which turned into one of the heavier rituals I've performed. So last night, I had a dream.

I was approaching a Hmong house. These houses were made from banana leaves (like old Hmong houses) and the people who took me there were Hmong people who dressed in traditional Hmong clothes. I was also in my Hmong clothes. There were so many people outside and everyone gathered around to see me. A few men approached me with a cow, a pig, and some chickens and gave them to me. They said, "Today, we are doing a healing ritual (Ua Neeb Kho) for you. We have brought you a cow, a pig, and some chickens." I went inside the house and saw someone doing ua neeb for me. I remember feeling happy and safe. I remember feeling thankful and it felt like I knew these people...

A short but symbolic dream.
